When I first started my business I paid a ridiculously large amount of money for an hour with a very successful business coach. I still follow her today; she’s powerful to watch. She is unapologetic in who she is and what she wants from her life. She’s now in her 50’s and continues to grow, experiment with her business, and make those big changes in her life when needed.

So why am I so focused on being a powerful older woman right now?
Well, I turned 55 last week. I’ve never felt more powerful nor aligned to the joy in my life and how I want to continue to grow personally and professionally. I have more energy then ever with the added bonus of the wisdom that comes from living a full and adventurous life. Only not everyone understands this. Over the last few months I’ve been doing the rounds of fundraising for a project close to my heart. We are working on creating an inspiring space for wellbeing in Eastbourne—a sanctuary where you can rejuvenate, connect, and thrive. This space will offer a variety of programmes, workshops, and retreats designed to inspire, educate and support your journey past 40 and to your vital, fun and fabulous life. And my age has been discussed in every bloody meeting!
