In 2011 I was diagnosed with cancer.  I remember how my world stopped, the exact words the specialist used, the endless hours of chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries, the struggles to find veins for cannulas...

This lovingly created space is all about what happens next - after your medical team have stepped away.  This space is designed to guide you back to life after your cancer battle.

MY SERIOUS ILLNESS BECAME MY SERIOUS MISSION

My drive and passion to create my company and my life changing healing hub comes from my own experience of burnout followed by 7 long years of serious illness culminating in a stage 2b cervical cancer diagnosis.

I thought the endless rounds of surgeries, chemo and radiation would be the toughest part.  Only what I struggled with most was after the medical team stepped away and I was alone trying to pick myself up and understand what the hell just happened.

I spent too long trying to fit myself back into my old life not understanding that version of me had gone.

After everything we go through how can we possible make it through the other side the same person.

The answer is - we don't.

Our loved ones, friends, colleagues, neighbours, they all believe we are now jumping with joy.  The reality is very different.

I know you're grateful to be alive.  You are one of the lucky ones.  You survived.  Only right now you feel overwhelmed, lost, exhausted, frustrated and disconnected.

I completely understand how you feel.  It was from this space my Life After Cancer Empowerment Hub was born to bring hope and understanding, compassion and positivity, along with the easy steps to create strong foundations for the new and empowered person you are today because of your battle with cancer.
