Are we nearly there yet?

We’re very close my friends. You can feel it in the air… right?

If you’re starting to feel winter will never end, you’re not alone. Winter can be a challenging season for many of us, but it’s also a time of reflection and introspection as we explored in our January and February blog. It’s a great time to examine our dreams and aspirations, to reassess our priorities, and to dare to envision a brighter future.

It occurred to me recently that all my goals, wishes and intentions are work focused.  If you asked me today, what do I want for myself, I can’t answer that question.  I have a vision for my company, my health, my finances.  For me?  Nothing.

So, in our March blog, I want to invite you on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment to shift your focus to nurturing your personal goals and dreams.  Or at least check-in and make sure you have something personal on your vision board other than a healthy looking woman in her gym gear along side numerous work goals.

So to help, here are three powerful questions that will guide you towards your personal dreams and aspirations for the year ahead:

1. What truly matters to you on a deep, personal level?

Here you’ll want to reflect on your core values and priorities. By understanding what truly matters to you, can align your goals and with your authentic and true self.

2. If you could wave a magic wand and create your ideal life, what would it look like?

This is one of my favourite questions to ask myself as it’s a wonderful opportunity to dream big without limitations. When you tap into your imagination, you can gain clarity on the direction you want to take in your life.

3. What steps can you take today to move closer to your vision of success and fulfilment?

This question empowers you to take action and make progress towards your goals. By breaking down your vision into actionable steps, you can create a roadmap for achieving your dreams and truly enjoying your one wild and precious life.

Our greatest successes come with a well-rounded perspective — one that encompasses not only our professional ambitions but also our personal growth and happiness.

So go check out your vision board and add more of your own personal dreams and desires that will allow you to leap into spring energised and excited, and with our minds open to new possibilities for those glorious sunny days ahead.

Before I go, I want to mention International Women’s Day.  Last year, I asked you to nominate a woman who has been your champion — a beacon of support and inspiration in your life. The response was overwhelming.

So let’s do it again! Hit reply and nominate that special woman who has made a difference in your life, and you could win dinner on me for both of you to celebrate the power of friendship, sisterhood and solidarity as well as have your story told in our April blog.

Have a beautiful month everyone.
